The requirement
Every afternoon, sun on the glass washed out the screens in the client-facing meeting rooms, and the building only permitted fabrics with a fire-safety certificate.
The result
Each room received two motorized roller blinds on a single bracket: a sunscreen layer that cuts glare while keeping the view, and a dim-out layer for presentations, both in certified fire-rated fabric. The rooms stay usable through the harshest afternoon sun, and the fit-out passed the building’s fire compliance on the first check.
